Teacher Assistant to the Network Coordinator

This is a part-time, 10-month probationary position in the District.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Professional Development and Classroom Support

  • Assist teachers in integrating technology and establishing classroom routines.
  • Support students and teachers during lessons to ensure smooth use of digital tools.
  • Plan and deliver professional development sessions focused on technology integration.
  • Onboard new staff and help them set up effective technology practices.
  • Track participation in professional development and suggest individualized opportunities

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain documentation of classroom technology setups, procedures, and technical workflows.
  • Keep logs of service requests and updates to ensure accountability.

Cybersecurity

  • Work with the Technology Coordinator to apply cybersecurity practices in classrooms.
  • Create cybersecurity resources for staff and students.
  • Assist in regular audits of classroom devices, software and practices.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all technology assets.
  • Track deployments, maintenance, and warranties.
  • Support procurement planning for classroom technology.

Policy and Procedure Development

  • Help draft and update technology policies and standard procedures.
  • Work with teachers to establish consistent routines for technology use.
  • Share policy updates and create easy-to-understand resources for staff.

General Support

  • Provide quick troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with installations, updates, and maintenance as needed.
Starting at $11,000/yr
