LTS Teacher

This is a long-term sub position in the Elementary School starting from 9.2.25 through approx. 12.19.25. Starting at $225/day.

Job Goals:

To help students overcome problems that impede learning and to assist them in making educational, occupational, and life plans that hold promise for their personal fulfillment as mature and responsible men and women. This includes counseling and advising for:

  1. Academics
  2. Career and Post-Secondary Plan
  3. Transitional Events
  4. Personal conflicts, growth, and development
Starting @ $225/day.
.5 Classroom Aide

This is a part-time position in the Elementary School starting 9.2.25 .

  • Assists with classroom activities and regular school routines as directed by the teacher.
  • Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up and assigned by the teacher.
  • Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
  • Supports student(s) with individual needs as identified by the teaching team (i.e. Feeding, toileting, self-care, social emotional development, academic).
  • Corrects papers or workbooks and keeps records as assigned by the teacher.
  • Prepares bulletin boards and displays as requested by the teacher.
  • Serves as the chief source of information and help to any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers
  • Participates in in-service training programs as assigned.
  • Supervises lunch or play periods as scheduled.
  • Carries out any other assigned duties and/or responsibilities, which may be deemed appropriate by the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education

1:1 Classroom Aide

This is a full-time 1:1 position in the Elementary School starting 9.2.25 .

Part-Time Food Service Worker
  1. Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter.
  2. Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter.
  3. Removes and cleans used dishes and silverware and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables, and furnishings in the dining area.
  4. Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.
  5. Performs related duties as required including duties at special meal functions.
  6. Complies with all state and county regulatory agency orders.
  7. Collects payments for lunches and food items.
  8. Prepares any reports needed daily.
  9. Fills any job in cafeteria as needed or required.
  10. Operates the cash register.
  11. Performs other assigned tasks related to the position of cashier.
  12. Carries out any other assigned duties and/or responsibilities which may be deemed appropriate by the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education.
  13. Attends appropriate professional development activities as requested by the Business Manager.
$16.35/hr
